Navigation restrictions Canal de Bourgogne (Burgundy)

21 September 2020

Please note that, due to very low rainfall over the past six months, dropping water levels have enforced restrictions to navigation on the Canal de Bourgogne. The canal is totally closed for navigation from 01/10/2020 until further notice.

This closure means that cruising itineraries from our Nicols base at Brienon and Venarey are not currently possible.

Although an issue out of our control, we apologise for any inconvenience caused. If you have any questions then don’t hesitate to contact the Nicols team.
