RESTRICTION OF NAVIGATION

In this flash news, find the information provided by the french waterways (VNF : Voies Navigables de France) and the various territorial authorities in charge of the river network:

 

26/02/2021: REGION BRETAGNE - notice to the Batellerie - Canal de Nantes à Brest - Sector REDON –Quiheix Lock

Work on the Canal de Nantes à Brest will lead to the closure of navigation until 29/04/2021 between REDON and the lock of Quiheix. This means that any cruise departure from Sucé sur Erdre in April will be possible only on the river ERDRE, towards south (Nantes) or towards north (Nord sur Erdre), which means 2 days of navigation.
Navigation will reopen from the 30/04/2021 between Sucé sur Erdre and Redon, towards Glénac.


09/02/2021 – ANJOU REGION

In 2021, works on the rivers MAYENNE + OUDON will begin form the 8th sept.
All the boats located in Grez-Neuville will be transferred to the base in Sablé-sur-Sarthe for the end of the season.

04/02/2021: REGION BRETAGNE - notice to the Batellerie - Canal de Nantes à Brest - Sector St Congard

Work on the town of St Congard (Canal de Nantes à Brest) will lead to the closure of navigation from 13/9/2021 until the end of the season. For cruises departing from Glénac,
navigation will remain possible until St Martin sur Oust. Navigation is still possible on the Vilaine river, towards south (La Roche Bernad) or north (Rennes) or on the Canal de Nantes à Brest towards Blain - Nantes.


20/01/2021: VNF - Information- Yonne River - La Boisseaux lock gate:

Work on the Boisseaux lock in the town of MONETEAU (north of Auxerre) is proving to be longer than originally planned.
The Lock of the Boisseaux will therefore be inaccessible until the end of April 2021. > Boaters departing from Brienon will not be able to join AUXERRE until that date.
