Really memorable cruise

What memories do you keep from your holiday?

We had a really memorable cruise and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was an affordable way for eight adults & a child to have a break away together with lots to do. Going early in the season meant the canal was quiet and we had it almost to ourselves, sailing through beautiful countryside.

The senior staff at Port Lauragais were a little stern & intimidating when we arrived which was off putting We put it down to the language barrier although we do speak fairly good French between us. The staff who explained how the boat works etc. were helpful & friendly. It had not been made clear to us before hand that there was not a supermarket in Port Lauragais. The front cabin on the boat had such a bad condensation problem that it dripped like rain, so it was unusable When we told the staff on return they said we should have put on the heating. There wasn't any heating in the front cabin.
