Estivale Octo
The Octo is from the Nicols Estivale range of boats and has four spacious cabins – two of which have beds that can be set as doubles or twins. This therefore means that the canal boat is ideal for crews of either four couples or two couples and four children.

The Octo canal boat, at 13.50 metres in length offers a great feeling of spacious accommodation.
The bright living area offers a panoramic view of your surroundings and at the back of a boat is a deck space with canopy, great for alfresco dining. There is also a small deck terrace at the front of the boat which is ideal for sunbathing.
The kitchen offers a remarkable amount of equipment – a large fridge, hob and oven whilst there is also a radio/CD/MP3 player and connectivity to shore power supply of 220 volts.
Outside is a second steering position on the top deck and a swim ladder and deck shower as with all of our Estivale range of canal boats. Another benefit of this model of canal boat are bow thrusters for easy manoeuvring.

Our crew was made up of two families (four adults and four children) so the Octo was perfect due to the four cabins. The rear terrace was great for outside dining under the awning. The helpful base team at Le Somail showed us everything about the boat – which turned out to be nice and easy to drive thanks to the bow thrusters.
