Your Nicols boating holiday starts in KERKDRIEL in the heart of the NETHERLANDS - an ideal place to discover the splendid country of cheeses! From river to canal, discover the picturesque towns of Holland, its windmills, green meadows and its stunning fields of tulips.

Departure base

The charming little port of KERKDRIEL is located 15 km north of Bois le Duc. Two restaurants and a beach are within the immediate vicinity of the base where your Nicols boat awaits you.

Places to see and things to do

Kerkdriel: the beach is close to the base and the town centre has many restaurants.

Rotterdam: Europe’s largest international port, a city renowned for its modern architecture.

Gouda: famous for its cheese, its old town and its Saint Jean church with remarkable stained-glass windows.

Gorinchem: an ancient walled city on an island whose fortifications are still relatively intact.

Willemstad: many great historical monuments and fortifications to explore.

Heusden: a fortified city that is a must-stop when on the Meuse River.

Now it’s time to return to Kerkdriel.
