Celebrity 5 Go Barging is filmed on Nicols routes!
At Nicols we’re excited to see how a group of celebs get on cruising on the beautiful Lot River and sunny Canal du Midi in Channel 5’s new TV show Celebrity 5 Go Barging.
The four episode series, starting on the 2nd February sees actor Tom Conti, gardener and TV personality Diarmuid Gavin, ex-Olympian Tessa Sanderson, singer Tony Christie and TV and radio presenter Penny Smith make up the crew of a self-drive canal boat.
Filming covered two beautiful but different regions of France. At first we see the crew on the River Lot in south-west France before they navigate along the famous Canal du Midi in the south of France.
Nicols offers boating holidays on both of these rivers in our stylish cruisers that sleep crews of anything between two and twelve people. No previous boating experience is needed.
